Abstract

The purpose of the work is to demonstrate and interpret the principle of identity of thinking and being as a fundamental prerequisite for a holistic understanding of Hegel's philosophy as the final event of classical European philosophy. Methodological. The specificity of the study requires the use of classical historical and philosophical methodology. The research uses methods of textual, conceptual and logicalstructural analysis. The initial methodological basis is the dialectical principle of unity of historical and logical. Scientific novelty. The article proves the need to find a fundamentally new, integrated and holistic approach to understanding Hegel's philosophy. This is due to the lack of existing approaches that overlook the fundamental unity of logic and theoretical system in Hegel's philosophy. This leads to a very wide range of unfounded accusations by Hegel of excessive universalization of his philosophy. The author demonstrates the uniqueness and specificity of dialectical logic as a unity of logic, theory and method. Due to this uniqueness, dialectics appears as a link that allows us to interpret the ontological foundations of Hegel's philosophy through the principle of identity of thought and being. Conclusions. The study concludes that the unique comprehensiveness and totality of Hegel's philosophy is not some subjective ambition of the author, who claims to express the ultimate truth. Instead, laying the foundation for understanding Hegel's philosophy of the principle of the identity of thought and being fits Hegel's philosophical project into the general history of the development of European philosophy. It also allows us to interpret Hegel's philosophy as the final realization of the internal impulses of European philosophy and a fundamental philosophical event, which still has a strong influence on any modern philosophical paradigms. In the framework of such conclusions, the question of the extent to which Hegel's philosophy can become an enlightening narrative for the modern anthropological situation is raised.
