EXISTENTIAL AND PSYCHOANALYTIC ASPECTS OF THE CHOICE OF LOVE IN THE PHILOSOPHICAL AND ANTHROPOLOGICAL DISCOURSE OF THE XX–XXI CENTURIES

Abstract

Summary. The purpose of the article is to analyze and study the problems of love in philosophical anthropology and related disciplines, primarily to identify conceptual approaches in the study of the problem of choosing love between man and woman. The author considers the issue not only from the point of view of worldview issues, but also from the psychological point of view and to outline ways of overcoming that block the way to human integrity and make it difficult to make the choice of love. Using comparative analysis to reveal the essence and meaning of the ontological, anthropological, epistemological and axiological aspects of the phenomenon of love through choice. The methodological principles of the study were: psychoanalysis, psychosynthesis, logotherapy, analytical psychology, positive existentialism, personalism, metaanthropology, androgynous analysis. Scientific novelty. The continuous concept of “choice of love” in a gender context in the domestic philosophical and anthropological discourse has not been studied before. For the first time through the synthesis of directions of philosophical anthropology the phenomenon of love is revealed through the implementation of the choice of love in the existence of modern man. Conclusions. Thanks to the comparative analysis of research works of philosophers and psychoanalysts of XX – XXI centuries it was possible not only to carry out scientific research on the phenomenon of love, but also to understand it in the context of the concept of “choice of love”. The choice of love is self-determination, the true choice of the individual, the choice of a way of life in which worldview aspirations, the desire of the mind are combined with existential experiences, feelings and impulses of the flesh in oneself and in union with the Other. Existential and psychoanalytic problems of the integrity of the individual in the choice of love on the basis of methodological strategies of metaanthropology is the basis for further research.
