Abstract

Summary. The purpose of the work. On the basis of theoreti-cal analysis, the article defines the concept of motherhood as a factor of formation of the principles of Christian family education, and hence, the disclosure of motherhood in eschatological projection on the basic principles of motherhood as a whole. Methodology. The means of realizing this goal are the activation of the concept of «motherhood» in the context of the relationship between modern attitude and disclosure through the lens of biblical vision. In particular, the basic principles of the eschatological meaning of salvation through childbirth (ap. Paul) reveal the conditions of motherhood itself. The article includes the thoughts and visions of the modern theologian Mitr. Athanasius of Limassol and educator Vasyl Sukhomlinsky. Scientific novelty. The con-cept of motherhood is revealed through the basic dimensions of the Christian understanding of salvation. Actualization for the present of eschatological dimension of motherhood in the concepts of faith, reason, love and holiness. This is what provides for an adequate attitude to the birth and upbringing of the future generation. The article attempts to draw attention to the problem of childhood. Conclusion. Looking at the qualities of motherhood: faith, reason, holiness and love, we can talk about the very disclosure of motherhood, as a certain essential integrity of family upbringing, a form of human return to God. Mother-hood appears as a revelation of the human potential for the creation of a new human being in its free personal dimension of existence and God.
