DISCOURSE ABOUT INDUSTRIALIZATION

The article describes main trends in the development of discourse as to indus-trialization and the role of technology in the modern world. The theories of industrialization and the philosophy of technology are discussed, beginning from M. Heidegger and P. Drucker, and ending with modern theorists. The author argues that the discourse about industrialization, first of all about technology and technological civilization, is an essential attribute of Modern, affecting considerably the future path of modern world development.
