PLACE OF HEALTH MODUS IN SYSTEM OF HUMAN AND SOCIETY VALUES

Abstract

Summary. The purpose of the article is to study the importance of human health in the system of life values, analysis of social measures and the legal basis for protection of life and health of Ukrainian population. The methodological basis of the study was the philosophy of anthropology and philosophy of law. Scientific novelty. In conditions of today's global challenges the value of health is growing and people are trying to live longer, have better health and enjoy it in the new environment. The importance of health today is defined as the universal value that applies to everyone – both rich and poor, young and old, people of different races. This is an inalienable human right, the importance of which is growing every year. The population health is the guarantee of favorable social and moral atmosphere, trust in state which should take care of the health for both the individual and the health of society on the whole. Conclusions. The comparative review of modern literature and publications shows that human health is considered as philosophical, social, economic, biological, medical category as individual and social value, phenomenon of systemic nature, dynamic, constantly interacting with the environment which in its turn is constantly changing. The state of health care plays an important role in creating the basis for public health, prevention and treatment of common diseases, promotion of healthy lifestyles, strengthening the health of Ukrainian nation. Therefore, the public measures, state policy of Ukraine in the field of health care should be aimed primarily at bringing the national system of health care laws in line with European Union law; there must be sufficient funding for the medical sector for the effective implementation of state programs to preserve the health of the population. The article mentions only some aspects of the state policy of Ukraine and public regulation of health, so this issue needs further research and analysis.
